Our documentary project

Materia Mensa - where clay and cuisine meet on film.

the process - From first conversation to first service

Week 1

Tell us your story.

We want to understand your space, your menu, the atmosphere you are creating. The first conversation is exploratory – no briefs, no forms. Just a real exchange about what you are building.

Week 1 – 2

We propose a direction.

Based on what we hear, we suggest shapes, glazes, and finishes. If you want to work from our existing collections with custom glazing, or start from a blank page – we make that clear here.

Week 2 – 4

Sample & refine.

You see and touch before you commit. We produce samples, you test them in service. Glazes are adjusted, proportions refined. The piece earns its place on your table before the full order begins.

3 weeks – 2 months

Production & delivery.

Smaller orders leave our studio in as little as 3 weeks. Larger collections take up to 2 months. Every piece is inspected before it ships. We build in replacement stock from the start.

How we collaborate

Three ways to work together.

Ready-made collections

Browse our full catalogue and order directly. Everything is in stock or made to order within standard timelines. No design process required – just select what works for your table.

  • Access to the full P&P collection
  • Volume discounts from order size

Option 2 – MOST REQUESTED

Our shapes, your palette. We adapt existing forms to your specific glazing, colour story, or surface texture. The result feels entirely yours – with the efficiency of working from proven foundations.

  • Choose from our shape library
  • Custom glaze developed for you
  • Sampled and approved before production
  • Exclusivity option available

Option 3

Full custom

Everything starts from a conversation and ends with a piece that has never existed before. Shape, proportion, surface, finish – designed specifically for your dishes and your space.

This is the deepest collaboration we offer.

  • Original form design from scratch
  • Multiple sample rounds included
  • Exclusive to your restaurant
  • Ongoing production partnership

Chefs who trusted us.

We have worked with chefs across Bulgaria, France, and the Middle East. Each project started with a simple question: what does your food need to say?

Chef Bruno Verjus

Restaurant Table, 3 R. de Prague, 75012 Paris

Custom tableware designed around Bruno’s culinary vision – a collaboration that grows with every season.

The Donburi bowl was built for a specific dish: deep, sculptural, glazed to complement the ingredients it would hold. This year, a new commission: handmade knife rests for the Table service.

Each project starts with a conversation. Each piece earns its place on his table.

What chefs always ask.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No. We work with orders of any size – from a single signature piece to a full collection for a 200-cover restaurant. Volume discounts are structured into our pricing, so larger orders simply cost less per piece.

How long does it take?

Smaller orders from our existing collections leave the studio in 3–4 weeks. Semi-custom projects take 5–7 weeks including sampling. Full custom designs, from first sketch to delivery, typically run 8–10 weeks. We build this into the project plan from day one.

What if a piece breaks in service?

We plan for it. We recommend ordering a few extra pieces from the beginning. This ensures consistency and peace of mind over time. For ongoing partners, we keep the glaze recipe and can reproduce any piece when needed. You will never have a mismatched table.

Can we see samples before committing?
Always. Sampling is part of the process – not an extra step. We want you to hold the piece, test it in a real service environment, and tell us what needs to change before production begins.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We work with clients across Europe, USA, the Middle East. Shipping is handled with professional ceramic packaging. Lead times account for transit.

Can the collection be exclusive to our restaurant?

We don’t replicate collections exactly. Each project is developed through personalization – in color, composition, and detail – shaped by your space and cuisine. Even when working with similar techniques, no two collections are ever the same, ensuring a distinct and personal result.

Let's talk about your table.
