What We Offer
- Full-time position, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, 5 days
- Hands-on training and mentorship in a supportive atelier environment
- Clear professional development pathway from apprentice to master ceramist certified by the Craft Chamber
Our ideal candidate
- Committed to Long-Term Growth: Ready to complete all stages of training — apprentice (1 year), journeyman (3 years), and master (5 years) — building a solid career in ceramics.
- Team Player: Embraces our ideas and vision, works harmoniously within the team, and respects studio processes. This is a collective creative journey, not an individual art project.
- Personality Traits: Responsible, organized, communicative, proactive, and eager to improve within established workflows.
- Willingness to Learn: Previous experience in ceramics is an advantage but not required. What matters most is a genuine desire to learn and grow.
- Physically Prepared: Working with clay, glazes, and kilns is physically demanding and requires energy, dexterity, and stamina.
- Detail-Oriented: Whether shaping, decorating, or packing, quality and precision are essential.
- Basic Technical Skills: Familiarity with Word, Excel, email communication. Photography skills and a driver’s license are pluses.
Career Progression
- Probation Period: 6 months
- Apprentice: Achieved after 1 year of work and training in the studio
- Journeyman: After 3 years of experience and meeting requirements, you can advance to this level
- Master Ceramist: After 5 years of employment and proven mastery, certification and recognition as a master ceramist is possible
